The Italian cooking culture has an amazing talent of turning simple ingredients into masterpieces of culinary delight. In following with this tradition, we have decided to use herbs and aromatics commonly found in all Mediterranean cooking; slowly infusing our traditional ghee with all those mouthwatering and versatile flavors. We start with our plain ghee and introduce a proprietary mixture of herbs to a base of red onions and garlic to create this infused ghee. The flavor is reminiscent of the rampant use of garlic and fresh herbs through out the Mediterranean region. This infusion can be used to mix up the everyday flavor of our traditional ghee and provides a wonderful departure from other bland and one-dimensional cooking oils. The ghee can be delightful on simple preparations like toasted bread, or can serve as an herbal boost for any other dishes from Southern Europe. Enjoy eggs, to most proteins and vegetables cooked with this ghee to conjure up the scents and images of the Mediterranean region.
